Deming Speedway and Sunset Speedway have teamed up thank you to Herz Precision Parts to introduce the Micro 600 Showdown. This 5 race mini series will be ran over 2 weekends to offer a bonus points fund to chase this summer in the NW for Micro 600 Open teams. Each event will be ran under each facilities standard weekly format, with one standard points system (which can be found below) to decide championship.
The series will kick off at Deming Speedway in Washington July 2nd, before heading south to complete a 3 day holiday racing weekend at Sunset Speedway in Oregon on July 3rd and 4th. The series will then resume on August 6 at Deming before running its final event at Deering Management Group Open Wheel Frenzy Night at Sunset on August 7th. Following the event on the 7th points will be calculated for the final time and awards will be handed out.
To be eligible for this series you must attend all 5 events, with the top 10 in points to do so, all having a chance at a piece of what currently is a $2,600 points fund.
Both Sunset Speedway GM Jeremy Means, and Deming Speedway Promoter Paul Lemley would like to thank HPP for the support and very much look forward to teaming up this summer for something new to the Micro scene in the Northwest.
