SSP Ready For 4-Bee Bonanza On Saturday July 20th

Banks, Oregon- One of the most interesting yet fun races of the 2019 season is upon the fans and racers of Sunset Speedway Park. The “Banks Bullring” will host the annual 4-Bee Bonanza which features the class going thirty laps in the normal direction and then thirty laps in the opposite direction. Also in attendance will be the Outlaw Late Models, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks/IMCA Hobby Stocks, and New Bee.
Ticket prices are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 & Under) are FREE. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths(6-12)) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. “Crimson” Cody Skies tops the current win list of the 4-Bees after nearly a dozen races. Skies has beat the field three times in 2019. Captain Turnabout, Taylor Sayre, and Jeremy Hughes have managed to accrue two-win each thus far in the current campaign. Ryan Conroy and John Gartner are the only two single race victors of the season.
After four races Daniel Modaff has won the vast majority of the Outlaw Late Model events. Modaff has visited victory lane on the three occasions while Brian Winkler has done so just once. In IMCA Sport Mod competition Tanner Krohling has been on a terror with his three triumphs. Brad Ruth, Rod Lowe, and Braedon Hand all have amassed just a single race win to their credit.
In the Street Stock category Craig Loomis still has the most points and wins. Loomis has scored three victories while Joey Tardio has managed to win the last two consecutive races. Frank Elwess, Arnie Case, and Zack Simpson have all won once. In the Pure Stock/IMCA Hobby Stock division Austin Henderson has record four triumphs over Jacob Myers’ two. Kendall Lee is, so far, the only single race victor. Lastly, in the New Bee division, Andie Keller has won three of the four completed races with Tori Chandler winning the most recent race.
