SSP Returns To Racing On Saturday September 8th

Banks, Oregon- After taking a week off for Labor Day Weekend, Sunset Speedway is excited to get back to racing action on Saturday, September 8th. A full card of seven separate classes will converge on the “Banks Bullring” with some great competition expected to be on hand. Divisions include Super Late Models, Street Stocks, Dwarf Cars, 4-Bees, New Bees, and both classes of Micro Sprints.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com . Joey Tanner is the only driver so far this year that has won more than once, with two trips to victory lane. Willie Sutton, Jason Johnson, Sonny Modaff, Britton Donahoo, and John Dees are the four drivers to recorded one win each. Arnie Case has thirteen victories to his credit while Donald Schott and Joey Tardio have one apiece.
Ryan Conroy has bested the 4-Bee field on ten occasions. William Wolfe has four trips to the winner’s circle while Travis Koch has done so twice. Eddie Farness, Austin Henderson, and Captain Turnabout have been to victory lane one time. Cutlass Jones is the man to beat in the New Bee division with four triumphs. Tori Chandler is the only other multi-feature victor, with two, over Dakota Vorseth, Ryan Potter, and Barry Cannon.
In the Dwarf Car group Jake Tupper is the dominant winner with three separate wins over Shane Youngren’s two. Josh Rodgers, Ryan Martinez, Jeremiah Hester, and Camron Diatte each have one win. Jeff Little leads the Open Micro division with his four victories while Evan Margeson has two. Josh Thompson, Jesse Schlotfeldt, and Chance Crum are on the win list with one. In the Restricted Micros both Allison Johnson and Macie Logsdon are tied with two wins apiece. Jo Jo Batalgia, Dakota Drake, Jesson Jacobson, Lane Taylor, and Becca Clark join the two on the winner’s table.
