Margeson, Lockwood, And Logsdon Successful At Deering Management Group Open Wheel Frenzy Wins At SSP

Banks, Oregon- In addition to the Wingless Sprint Series racing at Sunset Speedway Park, on Saturday, August 11th, so would four other divisions. The Deering Management Group Open Wheel Frenzy had the Northwest Focus Midget Series, IMCA Modifieds, and both Micro Sprint divisions.
Evan Margeson, of Tacoma, Washington would best the field in the Northwest Focus Midget feature. He didn’t stop there as he collected the win in the Micro Open main event, the second time he has done so this year. Mount Vernon, Washington’s Macie Logsdon won her second Micro Restricted feature of the season. It is also Macie’s second straight win in the class. Lastly, Doug Lockwood, from nearby Aloha, took care of business in the IMCA Modifieds for his first triumph of the current campaign at SSP.
The “Banks Bullring” gets back to racing on Thursday, August 16th. It will be apart of the Interstate Sprint Car Series Week of Speed. In addition to the ISCS Sprints there will also be Street Stocks and Dwarf Cars on the card.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00.
