Mann, Schlotfeldt, Foster, Case, And Owen Get Wins In First Night Of SSP Spring Challenge

Sunset Speedway Park had a massive car count on hand for Saturday May 23rd for the first night of the Spring Challenge presented by 98.7 The Bull. In addition to the Northwest Extreme Late Models in the house there was also both classes of Micro Sprints, the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and 4-Bee's.
A large contingent of Open 600cc Micro Sprints were on tap. Monroe, Washington pavement Sprint star Jake Mann was able to put his Mann Racing #21M entry in victory lane in his first appearance of 2015 at SSP. The same could be said in the Restricted ranks as Jesse Schlotfeldt, from Arlington, Washington, took care of business in his class to win the feature in his Schlotfeldt Racing #21 machine.
The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds would see yet another feature winner this time it was the Busy Bee Cleaning/Pam Pam’s Autowrecking/J.R. Printing & Graphics #68 Allen of Dayton's Bubba Foster. Arnie Case from Vancouver, Washington would win the Street Stocks feature in the Case Racing #18C mount. Last but not least the TK's Auto #23 of Vernonia native Damion Owen was the feature winner in 4-Bee competiiton.
Sunset Speedway Park is back in action for the second and final night of the Spring Challenge presented by 98.7 The Bull. Classes in competition include the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bee's, and both classes of Micro Sprints.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30. Tickets are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
