Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Back In Action For Race Two Of 2014

Banks, Oregon- After a nail biter of a feature at Cottage Grove Speedway the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will trek north to Sunset Speedway Park on Saturday April 26th for the second race of the season. The show is expected to be a good one as the “Banks Bullring” has produced some memorable features in the past four seasons and will be the first of nine total appearances by the series this year.
Shaun Mayea would pick up the big win in the first round of the 2014 Northwest Extreme Late Model Series season down in Cottage Grove. Brad Martin would finish a respectable second place while Greg Walters completed the evening’s podium.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited the Banks bullring a total of nineteen times since the organization’s inception in 2010 with Greg Walters winning the most at twelve triumphs. Collen Winebarger has three wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, and Billy Workman Jr.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
