2014 will be a remarkable year for the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region as they will visit seven different race tracks in three different states. Of those seven the tour will visit the Golden State of California for the first time ever as they will compete at Yreka’s Siskiyou Motor Speedway on Sunday June 29th to kick off Speedweek Northwest.
ASCS-Northwest will return with its heart-pounding earth-shaking excitement from its kickoff at Lebanon, Oregon’s Willamette Speedway in May all the way to September with the champion crowned at the Central Washington State Fair Raceway in scenic Yakima, Washington as they have every year.
The ASCS-Northwest Region will be returning to Oregon’s Coos Bay Speedway, Cottage Grove Speedway, Southern Oregon Speedway, Sunset Speedway Park, and Willamette Speedway. The September trip to the Central Washington State Fair Raceway will be the organizations only venture to the Evergreen State in 2014.
Not only will ASCS-Northwest Region fans see action on the best dirt tracks in the Pacific Northwest but they will also see some of the top drivers in the entire Western United States featured in each and every race of 2014.
Drivers and teams of the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region will be happy to know that the end of the season point fund will at least be $10,000.00 to be dispersed at the awards banquet. As the year progresses the point fund may go up either by money or contingencies and we will promptly notify every one of any increases.
