Banks, Oregon- In 2014 Sunset Speedway Park will be utilizing the Raceceiver communications system on a weekly basis. All drivers will be required to have a Raceceiver by June 21st and it will be a benefit to fans, drivers, and officials as it hopes to make the show go a lot smoother. A list of local vendors can be found at the bottom of this release with their contact information.
“This will help our program so much,” commented SSP Race Director Charlie Weaver, “it gives officials a chance to just go over the radio and correct a lineup problem versus waiting for the car to come by and tell him/her which spot they are in. It should make the show go a lot smoother.”
Sunset Speedway Park enters the 2014 season with an action packed schedule that you do not want to miss out on. The first event of the season is a test and tune play day scheduled to take place on Saturday April 5th while the first race of the year will be held on the 19th.
